Is Victoria's version of "yee haw." She yells it with gusto whenever her horse (Mommy) is not moving at her desired pace. She had the chance in Mississippi to ride my friend Allison's rather large (and very real) horse, Kansas. Victoria is the little purple dot on the saddle. Allison and her husband live in Bentonia - only about 20 minutes from my parents' house. I got to see her new house, we walked with her pack of dogs (Victoria was in heaven) down to their lake, rode the horse, ate pizza, and had a lovely time catching up. Allison and I have been friends since the summer before my 9th grade year when, luckily, her family had the rental next to ours in Pensacola Beach, FL.
We had such a fun week! The kids did wonderful on the trips over and back. Lauchlin's shower was on Saturday night. I had a great time catching up with friends accompanied by great food created my co-hostess with the most-ess, Emily!! She called me a few weeks ago to tell me that they are expecting their first baby! I got to meet the bump while I was there. I'm so excited!
We arrived back in Houston on Monday to greet my sister-in-law, Ana. She is visiting until Tuesday. We are excited to show her around Houston!

I'm glad that you guys had a good time and made it home safely. CP doesn't really understand what's about to happen and that she'll be around cousins and other little friends all_the_time. Moving truck - October 15th. =0)
