Friday, Gabriel got congested and started running a high fever. The temp kept rising until it was nearly 105 on Sunday morning. I had to run him to the emergency room so he could be examined. All is well and he is MUCH better.

From an Egg Hunt to the Emergency Room
We have had an exciting week! Lauchlin was in town working the Bayou City Arts Festival and was able to stay with us for a long weekend. We had a great time chatting and hanging out with the kids. Saturday was the church egg hunt. Victoria visited the petting zoo (camel, deer, calf, wallaby, crazy chickens, baby goats and lambs, etc.), dug in the inflatable pools of rice, and jumped in the bounce castle. She picked up her eggs in the hunt with finesse and quickly exited to begin consuming the candy treats inside.
