Katherine, Joel, Mary "Cake" and Ford rolled through Mississippi last Wed./Thurs. and we were able to meet up and go to the Children's Museum with them. The kids had a lot of fun playing with their cousins. We all got to dine at Sal & Mookie's with my grandparents after the museum.
That evening, I was able to sneak away for an adults only birthday dinner for cousin Mary at Babalu's - a new tapas-style place in Jackson. The atmosphere was really groovy and the food was good. I'll definitely go again.
Saturday, Victoria was invited to a Chick-fil-A birthday party for her classmate, Carter. She had fun playing and eating icing (the only part of cake she seems to enjoy).
