We just cannot stay well. I was knocked off my feet last month by an upper respiratory infection. So lucky it wasn't passed along to the kids. However, just a week after Thanksgiving Victoria got pinkeye and a sinus infection. A visit to the Dr. and the eye drops prescribed took care of that almost overnight. This past Friday Gabriel started running a fever and the next morning I saw the signs of pinkeye. He got Victoria's sinus infection AND eye trouble. It hit him very hard with BOTH eyes infected and super congestion. Luckily, I had plenty of eye drops left and was able to start treating him right away. By the way, can you guess how much fun it is to put eyedrops in toddlers' eyes FOUR TIMES A DAY FOR A WEEK?!?! This morning, Gabriel is feeling & looking a lot better. Of course, in the process...I have also gotten their sinus infection. Fun times...
I'm hopeful we will all be completely well after this week and will be able to enjoy Christmas symptom-free!
The little man was feeling too sick to attend, but I snuck away to take Victoria on Saturday morning to the church Christmas party and Bolton Christmas parade. She got a Barbie and named her Rose.
Last night, I wanted to do something crafty with the kids. We got out glue, scissors, construction paper, cotton balls, etc. Here's Victoria with our Christmas "puffets."
