New Routine

We are settling in and adjusting very well to the new routine. I feel like a semi operator, because I spend most of my time driving. Not having to change things for Victoria and pull her away from her friends, school and teacher that she loves so much...is worth it. We are now going to spend at least one night in Clinton per week until school's out, which will help.
Last Friday, I had my first dinner guests in the new house! Paige, Jeremy & Amelia came over for some BBQ and were kind enough to do some appliance hauling for me. On Sunday, we went to a really neat park and played for hours with Grammy and Clare. Gabriel started running a fever day before yesterday and I took him to the doctor. My 1st case of strep...for the kids, of course. Strep must be latin/greek for: sleep all day, don't eat and run fever, because that's all the little guy could manage. He woke up feeling tons better this morning. So, unfortunately, he missed out on our friend Sarah's fun birthday party last night at Pump It Up. Victoria did lots of bouncing and sliding and had a great time with her good friend Pookie (that is what they call each other...no idea, but it's funny).
testing out Mom's tub...he likes!
