The Graduate

Victoria received a book for her birthday that's all about the first day of kindergarten. She asked me to read it the other night. At the end, it's the parents you see crying and not the children because the kids are having so much fun. Victoria was very curious about why on earth the parents are sad & crying. As I was explaining that some parents get sad when their kids go off to kindergarten because it means that they are (sniff) truly not babies anymore. Next thing you know I'm blubbering away. Here come the waterworks!
So proud of how well Victoria did in pre-k. She made lots of great friends, had caring teachers, and learned a lot. Her brother was also quite the hit at the program. He was sooo excited to see Victoria sing. After they finished the first song and all was quiet he yelled out, "Great job, Victoria!! That was awesome!! You're a great singer!!" The whole place cracked up! Victoria was beaming! Wish that I hadn't already stopped filming...
