Modern Pumpkin Carving - 101

Apparently, the days of carving two triangles for eyes and a smile with crooked teeth are long gone. Ok, ok...I'll admit I was just as excited to try out a neat design on the pumpkins as the kids were. They eagerly helped with everything they possibly could, and then disappeared into the yard to "plant" the pumpkin seeds. I may have a pumpkin patch of my own this time next year! Although the weather wasn't very cool, we still had a fire and roasted hot dogs with our new, lit jack-o-lanterns.
