Too good to be true

I received a disturbing phone call last night from our realtor. Out of the blue, the couple that were buying our house were turned down for the loan. Turns out the bank didn't do enough research before they gave them the pre-approval letter. Unless a miracle happens, we're back at square one. Anyone who has gone through this process before knows how frustrating it can be. Until you've signed on the dotted line - anything and everything can go wrong. All we can do now is put the house back out there and hope that we get another offer very soon.

When horrible things like this happen and turn my world temporarily upside down - it is such a lifesaver to have Victoria in my life. She puts everything in perspective and always makes me smile - no matter what. I feel as though we can deal with anything as long as she's here, safe, and happy. What a blessing it is to be a parent!

Good news is...Ike is staying away from Louisiana. Victoria and I are going to Zoobilation this afternoon at the Audubon Zoo. It is supposed to be a very fun event and I'm sure she will enjoy it. I'll hopefully get some good pictures to post.

Cortney,
So sorry to hear about the house. I know how frustrating that can be. I'm sure that things will work out for the best. You seem to have a great perspective about it. If it were me, I'd probably be going crazy right now. I'm glad that y'all didn't have much damage from the hurrican and that Ike is going elsewhere. Hope the pregnancy is going great. I hit 30 weeks tomorrow, which makes it seem like baby boy is just around the corner.
