Thank you to everyone who has called or written with concern for our safety and state of our home. Thankfully, we escaped Hurricane Gustav with very minor damage. In fact, driving into our neighborhood yesterday it looked as though we did a lot better than those around us. We are going to hold off on any major cleanup until we find out where Ike is heading! We enjoyed a good visit with family and friends in Mississippi - while we were banished from our home. Why not enjoy it while we can??
We received wonderful news a few days ago when we heard that Toño & Annelise (Federico's brother & his wife) are expecting a child. We're going to be an aunt & uncle again! Baby #2 is also going to have a little cousin that is only about 7 months younger. We are so happy for them.
If you don't hear from me for a while - you will know that we have been told to leave again. I hope not!

Glad to know y'all made it through all right. Maybe you won't have to worry about hurricanes quite as much once you move. You'll just have to worry about all the evacuees!;)
By the way, when are we going to see some belly shots, mama?
