Weekend of Parties

On Sunday, Victoria and I headed to City Park to attend a birthday party. She had fun chasing ducks, sliding, and running around exploring. She had me huffing and puffing by the end of the party. I'm sure there's nothing more amusing than watching a 9-month pregnant mother chasing after her toddler - trying to keep her maternity pants up. Ha!
I went for my final doctor's visit this morning. I had an ultrasound and everything looks great. According to the ultrasound, baby boy weighs approximately 7 lbs. 6 oz. They put on about an ounce of fat per day at this point - you do the calculations.
I was scheduled for an induction on the 15th and had to sign some paperwork while I was in the office today. While signing, I noticed that one of the pieces of paper had Tulane Lakeside at the top. I asked the nurse about it, because I am supposed to be delivering at East Jefferson Hospital - not Tulane Lakeside. Apparently, they had me scheduled for an induction at Lakeside on the 15th - the wrong hospital. My doctor delivers probably 85% of his patients at Lakeside, but I prefer the other. So, they called and were only able to schedule me for an induction at the correct hospital at 2 a.m. on Wednesday. So, instead of the 15th...I'll now be delivering on the 17th. However, I don't really think I'll have to worry about that because I'm already dilated 2 to 3 cm. But, it's all up to my body and the baby...so you never know.
After Victoria and I read books at night, she gets to snuggle with me on the bed while she watches a video before bedtime. I caught this sassy pose on camera the other night.

Oh, I love that picture. How cute! Sorry your induction plans changed. Glad you caught that it was at the wrong hospital. Maybe, everything will happen naturally before you have to be induced. Can't wait to meet the little guy!
