Fever and a Rash

Wednesday, I took Victoria for a haircut. Her appointment was cutting it close to nap time and, of course, by the time we got home she did not want to go down because she had napped in the car. Her Royal Crankiness went to bed before 8 o'clock. The next day, she was still cranky, tired, and when she woke up from her nap I realized she was running a fever. I got out the humidifier, Vicks, etc. hunkering down for a bout with a cold. However, it never progressed that way. She kept running fever until Friday. After a complimentary diagnosis from my friend Lia (a Pediatrician) and a rash breakout, I found out she had a virus called Roseola. She's now back to her usual happy self and the rash is fading quickly.

Gabriel continues develop at breakneck speed. He is crawling with great finesse on all fours and can pull himself up to standing.

We are leaving on Friday for our beach vacation. I cannot wait to have a whole week dedicated to having fun with the kids, and the rest of my family without worrying about work, errands, housework, etc. We are also breaking our trip in New Orleans on the way over and back. It will also be nice to catch up with friends there.

CP had the same thing not too long ago. We're happy to see that the Queen and her little assistant are doing well.
