Every time we have visited the zoo I've wanted to take Victoria on the train ride through Hermann Park. However, by the time we get through the zoo the kids are exhausted and it's normally time for them both to eat. So, on Friday I promised Victoria a train ride the next morning. We showed up bright & early at 9 a.m. and found out that the train does not start running until 10. I let her pick a few different animals she wanted to see before we rode the train. Fish, elephants & tigers. Tigers were on the opposite end of the zoo, so I traded her sea lions & meerkats for tigers. The train ride was really neat and she enjoyed it as much as I was hoping. Gabriel was clapping and waving at everyone we passed!
Poor little guy has to ride in his sister's pink stroller occasionally.
Yesterday was Isabella P.'s 3rd birthday party. We had a great time and Victoria got her first whack at a piñata.
I found out this week that Chad, Callie & Lucy are going to be welcoming a new baby in July. I am hoping for a healthy journey in utero for my new niece or nephew.
I think I am going to wait another week or two and then start decorating for Christmas. I've got to get an early start so that I can enjoy it before we leave!
