Too Early for Lip Gloss?

Victoria is always wanting to put chapstick (she says it's lipstick) on her lips. Nothing wrong with wanting to stay moisturized, so I normally keep a stick in my purse for when she needs emergency application. I guess my Burt's Bees got left behind when I changed purses the other day, so I just handed her some of my lip gloss. She was doing really well applying it, until I handed it to her in the back seat of the car while I was driving and couldn't supervise. The next time I turned back to check on her, this is what I saw...

I went with Victoria's school on a field trip to the Museum of Natural Science on Monday. They have a special exhibit on butterflies at the moment. I will never get tired of that surprised/ecstatic/proud look on her face when I magically appear after she steps off the bus.

Gabriel's vocabulary is increasing daily. He is VERY skilled at expressing himself. He now has so many new ways to tell me NO. Definitely pushing limits and thinks that if you smile/smirk while you are doing something you've been told not to do...makes it ok. Sometimes their cuteness makes it difficult to stick to my guns!
