Luckily, we have managed to stay cool in this blazing Mississippi summer heat. We checked out the newly opened ground fountains at the Children's Museum last week.
On Monday, Paige & I drove the kids to Philadelphia to Geyser Falls Water Park. We all had a lot of fun and the kids played hard. They were so tired as we were leaving the park that they were dragging their feet, stumbling and pleading that I carry them...BOTH! Normally something I can do with relative ease, but not while carrying two beach bags full of gear. We got everyone loaded in the van and all three kids were asleep as soon as we left the parking lot.
The rest of the week I was busy preparing for Lauchlin & Olivia's baby shower that took place yesterday morning. Baby Grady received lots of great gifts. We cannot wait to meet him! Come out and play!
