The Way We Live

Although a bit more appealing when it's greener, this is the beautiful view from my parents' front door. I took it for granted during my teenage years growing up a 15 minute drive from civilization, but now I long for the peace. You can see sky and stars for miles and it is so quiet out here you can hear your own thoughts...and a stray moo every now and then.

In the afternoons, Victoria is busy looking for and chasing after the "moos," and taking Samantha (the resident Basset Hound) sticks through the fence. She is so silly - she keeps me laughing.

You must be able to hear a pair of Harleys for miles out there....

I think that I could have a pretty good truck farm out there. It's funny how you don't realize that when you're small and there in the middle of all that.
