Halloween Happenings

Last Wednesday evening was the Fall Festival at the church where Victoria attends preschool. We enjoyed it last year, so I asked the Hutchinsons to meet us over there again. Victoria was super excited to be wearing her Nala (from the Lion King) lion costume. Amelia was a cute little ladybug. Although all of the reviews said to order a size larger, when Gabriel's T-Rex costume arrived - it was huge. He will just have to wear it next year. I don't think he was planning to put it on anyway. It's hard enough for me to convince him to wear clothes... I found a Halloween shirt and he was happy. There was plenty to do and they started their candy collection.
The next day, we picked up Aunt Clare and headed to Georgia to see our cousins, aunt and Thomas the Train! While there, we visited a pumpkin patch and took a ride on a spooky hay ride. A news crew was there and they filmed us on the hay ride. We tuned in for the 5 o'clock news and there was plenty of footage of our group. Famous!
Saturday, we drove to Cordele, GA, for a Day Out with Thomas. We passed through the hometown of President Jimmy Carter while making our way through south Georgia to Cordele. The turning leaves (and small towns) made it an interesting journey.
