We were certain to arrive before the park opened Sunday morning, because I had read that they do a little something special with all the characters. It was definitely worth it. A little song & dance and then all of the characters arrived on the train. Excellent! We headed straight for the area where you could meet Rapunzel. We stayed in Fantasyland and rode the tea cups (twice),
Peter Pan (twice), Gabriel & I did Winnie the Pooh again, Snow White, It's a Small World AND we visited Mickey's PhilharMagic. We all really enjoyed that one! Gabriel would only wear his 3D glasses for moments at a time, so I'm not sure how much he got out of it - but he seemed to enjoy. We headed over to Frontierland and visited the Country Bear Jamboree. That was a hoot! We ate lunch and then headed to Adventureland for the Enchanted Tiki Room. We also revisited the Jungle Cruise, Magic Carpets of Aladdin and I took Gabriel to Pirates of the Caribbean again. We FINALLY found Princess Tiana (she was the only autograph we were missing) and waited in line to visit with her & Prince Naveen. We had an early dinner reservation at the Liberty Tree Tavern. We did a bit o' souvenir shopping and headed back to Pop Century. Since I had canceled our 2nd day at Hollywood Studios, I had to figure out where we were going to dine the next day. With the help of the concierge, I was able to change our reservation to the Ohana Breakfast featuring Lilo & Stitch at Disney's Polynesian Resort. I also discovered that the resort had a monorail station that could take us directly to Magic Kingdom! The kids had been dying to ride the monorail - especially Gabriel.
