Surprise!!

I have been planning for months & months and it was hard for me to keep it a secret, but seeing the look on the kids' faces when I told them we were going to Disney for a week was well worth the wait! Tuesday morning we checked out of the hotel in Sanibel and drove to our Disney Resort - Pop Century. Just checking out the resort was an experience - there was an arcade, artists, huge pool & kiddie pool, dancing, music, huge character statues and much more. Our room had Mickey bedspreads, soap and shampoo. We even had a message from Goofy on our voicemail welcoming us for the kids' 1st visit to Disney!

After unpacking, we drove over to Ft. Wilderness Lodge for a 5 p.m. dinner reservation at the Whispering Canyon Cafe. The servers kept us laughing with songs and general silliness. Of course, Gabriel had to have some ketchup and at the Whispering Canyon - when you ask for ketchup the last table that asked has to deliver 12 bottles to your table...and in a hurry. Not too long after that we heard, "KETCHUP!!!!" We had to quickly pick up the bottles and deliver them to the next victim.
